Adults
Adult Starter Tennis Lessons (Ages 18+)
For adult beginners. This program will cover an introduction to tennis. The sport of tennis will be covered in a fun and exciting way. Students will learn the technical fundamentals and how to play the game. Sneakers with non-marking soles required. For more information, call the Tennis & Fitness Center at 860-563-8051.

Pickleball Clinics – Beginner Adult (Ages 18 and up)
Players will learn the rules and scoring system of Pickleball if they do not know already. They will learn the basics of serving, ground strokes, volleying, and basic court positioning. By
the end of the class they will understand the importance of proper grip of the paddle and footwork. They will begin to learn strategy and tactics for more competitive play. The goal of this class will be to give players the confidence to apply these learned skills in organized game situations.

Pickleball Clinics – Intermediate/ Advanced Adult (Ages 18 and up)
Players will learn more advanced mechanics of serving, ground strokes, volleying, and court positioning. They will learn more advancd strategy and tactics for more competitive play. Players will work to enhance court awareness, shot selection, and overall decision making in gameplay. The goal of this class will be to help players develop and improve to their desired ability level and to give players the tools needed to continue to improve even after class has ended.

Strength Training Class (ages 18+)
Total body strength training will give you a complete workout that will help tone and reshape your body. Core workout is also included. The class will utilize free weights, bands, bars, etc., and will include standing and floor work. Need to provide own floor mat.

Strong and Fit (ages 18+)
Strong and Fit involves a combination of
cardio and resistance exercises that work multiple muscle groups, it helps to build overall strength while also improving muscular and cardiovascular endurance. By performing a variety of exercises with little rest, you will rise to the challenges and feel great!

Core and More (ages 18+)
This class focuses on strengthening the abdominals, glutes, lower back, hips, and legs either as the primary or supportive muscles. We will use mats, body weight and sometimes other equipment. This class is not always fast paced but can be at times as we work through the different muscles. You will work though some great moves for greater core strength. Instructor: Sheryl Harle

Yoga for Stress Relief (ages 16+)
This class is designed for those who are new to yoga; also those who are more experienced looking to slow down and reconnect. Our gentle flow will focus on the breath to release stress while we stretch our bodies mindfully. Prioritize your self-care this season and join me as we explore the basics of alignment and practice the art of letting go.
