Art-ventures for kids) Magical Art
Mystery tour (grades k–5)
Abracadabra, Hocus Pocus, its magic, and mystery with art as the focus! Magical Art Mystery Tour draws children into a world of wonder, revealing unbelievable art tricks and inspiring out-of-the-box creativity. Experiment with new and mysterious mediums and discover surprising techniques to transform familiar materials into magical masterpieces. Sculpt clay lizards and build lizard playgrounds out of sticky magic “nuudles”. Create colorful ceramic piggy banks, whimsical Model Magic owls and scratch a work of art inspired by the artist, Miro. Wave wands over T-shirts to form magical designs using fabric printing inks and stir a few unexpected items
into a “fluffy goop” potion. Discover the secret ingredient that turns pencils into paints, black lines into circus elephants, and torn paper into painted landscapes. And so much more! The results are totally “WOW.” And...voila...young art magicians bring home masterpieces each week.

Building up s.t.e.A.M. using lego® DuPlo® (grades k–1 / ages 5–6)
It’s never too early to begin using the engineering design process! Children are working independently and cooperatively as they begin to explore simple machines using LEGO® DUPLO® early childhood materials. There will be 2 or 3 motion-based projected introduced each day
of the week with additional challenge activities
for all building skill levels. Your child will have
the opportunity to work with and bring home
lab sheets showcasing what they build in order
to share with family and continue the learning process outside of camp. Projects may include wedge launchers, scissor lifts, and drumming machines.

It’s time to explore the engineering design process! Children are working with standard LEGO® materials to problem-solve engineering challenges involving structurs, levers, gears, pulleys, and other elements of simple machines. There will be 2–3 projects introduced each day of the week with additional challenge activities to accommodate all building skill levels. Your child
will have the opportunity to work with and bring home lab sheets that demonstrate what they
are building so they can share with family and continue the learning process outside of camp. Projects may include drawbridges, flywheel cars, and amusement park rides

incrediflix Film-creation camp (ages 7–13)
Children will get excited for this very unique experience learning how to develop their own, independent films! From directing to film choreography to voiceovers, children will be exposed to it all! Pickleball clinics – Beginner Adult
(ages 18 and up)
Players will learn the rules and scoring system
of Pickleball if they do not know already. They
will learn the basics of serving, ground strokes, volleying, and basic court positioning. By the end of the class they will understand the importance of proper grip of the paddle and footwork. They will begin to learn strategy and tactics for more competitive play. The goal of this class will be to give players the confidence to apply these learned skills in organized game situations.

Pickleball clinics – intermediate/ Advanced Adult (ages 18 and up)
Players will learn more advanced mechanics of serving, ground strokes, volleying, and court positioning. They will learn more advanced strategy and tactics for more competitive play. Players will work to enhance court awareness, shot selection, and overall decision making in gameplay. The goal of this class will be to help players develop and improve to their desired ability level and to give players the tools needed to continue to improve even after class has ended. strength training class
Total body strength training will give you a complete workout that will help tone and reshape your body. Core workout is also included. The class will utilize free weights, bands, bars, etc., and will include standing and floor work. Some mats are available to borrow, but bringing your own is recommended.
