Zumba
Come and dance with me! Zumba Fitness is an aerobic workout that combines medium to high energy with motivating music including Latin rhythms. Throughout the class, you’ll learn routines with moves that are easy to follow with support as you build confidence. Remember to wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and bring water to class.

Adult Starter Tennis Lessons
For adult beginners. This program will cover an introduction to tennis. The tennis sport
will be covered in a fun and exciting way. Students will learn the technical fundamentals and how to play the game. Sneakers with non-marking soles required. For more information, call the Tennis & Fitness Center at 563-8051.

Pickleball Clinics – Beginner Adult (ages 18+)
Players will learn the rules and scoring system of Pickleball if they do not know already. They will learn the basics of serving, ground strokes, volleying, and basic court positioning. By
the end of the class they will understand the importance of proper grip of the paddle and footwork. They will begin to learn strategy and tactics for more competitive play. The goal of this class will be to give players the confidence to apply these learned skills in organized game situations.

Pickleball Pick-Up Play
Join us for recreational Pickleball Pick-Up Play! This player-led, open-play program allows participants to organize their own games on the spot, no teams or matches
are pre-assigned. Two courts are available, with a maximum of 18 participants per session. Participants must check in with
the Community Center Supervisor before entering the gymnasium. Pickleballs are provided; paddles are not provided, so please bring your own.

Pickleball Clinics – Intermediate / Advanced Adult (ages 18 and up)
Players will learn more advanced mechanics of serving, ground strokes, volleying, and court positioning. They will learn more advanced strategy and tactics for more competitive play. Players will work to enhance court awareness, shot selection, and overall decision making in gameplay. The goal of this class will be to help players develop and improve to their desired ability level and to give players the tools needed to continue to improve even after class has ended.

American Sign Language
(Ages 16 and up)
Students will learn the ASL alphabet and corresponding words. Basic words and phrases such as colors, numbers, family members, etc. Students will be able to
sign familiar words and short phrases at the end of the course. This class is fun and educational!

       NEW PROGRAM! Adult Co-Ed Open Gym Volleyball (Ages 18+)
Join Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation for Recreational Co-Ed Volleyball! Players may register for either the Beginner or Advanced group based on their experience and skill level. This is an open-play program, not a league or tournament; however, standard volleyball rules will be followed. Players will rotate in and out between games, so continuous play throughout the entire time slot is not guaranteed.
Beginner: Designed for beginners or players with limited experience who have a basic familiarity with volleyball rules and are looking to learn, improve their skills, and have fun in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Advanced: Designed for experienced players with solid volleyball fundamentals and game experience who are comfortable following standard rules. Expect faster- paced, more competitive play.
