Did you know that all of the library’s programs are paid for by our Friends of the Rocky Hill Library group? This fun and hardworking volunteer group raises funds for the library through book sales and a mini golf tournament. You can help support the library by joining the Friends and supporting these activities.

mateo’s Kindness Club
Second Monday of the Month at 6 pm, Ages 5-9
Read an inspiring story, complete a hands-on kindness project, and earn a stamp in their Community Passport Book. Together, we’ll learn that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in our town!
Cora Bear & Cub Pre-Preschool
Tuesdays, Twice a Month at 10:30am, Ages 2–4
We’ll practice some developmental skills to help familiarize children with topics related to preschool! Activities will include colors, numbers, letters, days of the week, sharing and socializing, and a themed craft! No registration required. Limited to 15 families.

toddler tales
Wednesdays, Twice a Month at 10:30am, Ages 3–5
Join us two Wednesdays per month for Toddler Tales! Through a different theme each time, our sessions
will use stories, music, and/or crafts to introduce your children to new ideas and spark their imaginations! No registration required.
Babies & Bubbles
Thursdays, Twice a Month at 10:00am, Ages 0–2
Get little bodies moving with lap bounces, tickles, lifting songs and rhymes and enjoy baby playtime. No registration required.
Playgroup Plus
Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30am, Babies, Toddlers, and Preschooler
Drop in and join us for stories, songs, bubbles and more! Stay for free play with a large assortment of toys after the storytime. No registration required.
Kids Chess Club
First Wednesday of the Month at 6:30pm
Ages 5–10 years
Learn to play with other chess players. Chess boards from around the world will be featured. Recommended for children who are Chess Beginners- already know the basic rules of chess and can complete a game without assistance. Registration recommended
