Cancellations: Practices and Games may be cancelled at any given time. The Parks & Recreation Department will make all efforts to notify teams accordingly in these circumstances. Efforts will also be made to re-schedule cancelled practices and/or games. Please note, re-scheduled practices and/or games may not take place on the assigned night of your division (ex. Kickers cancelled practice MAY be re-scheduled on a Thursday depending upon field availability.)

Our well established Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation Youth Soccer programs rely entirely on dedicated volunteers like you. Without enough coaches stepping up, we risk having to cancel divisions, and we’re committed to keeping every child active and enjoying this great sport.
No soccer experience? No problem! We provide everything you need to succeed. From soccer balls, cones, and pinnies to structured weekly lesson plans and guidance on running fun, safe scrimmages, we’ll equip you to be a confident and effective coach.
Your commitment ensures our kids have a fantastic season. And to show our appreciation, you’ll receive a FULL CREDIT for the division(s) you coach on your Parks & Recreation account at the end of the season, provided you fulfill your commitment and are in good standing.

how to Apply
➤■ Step 1: Visit our website: https://rockyhillct.myrec.com/info/ and click on “Coaches Corner.”
➤■ Step 2: Print & complete the “Recreation Sports Coaching Agreement” form.
➤■ Step 3: Complete CHRO online Sexual Harassment Training and obtain copy of certificate of completion at end of course (automated).
n Per state legislation, all Town staff (including part-time and seasonal
employees, and volunteers) must complete an approved sexual harassment prevention training course via The Connecticut Commission on Human Rights & Opportunities. This is a 2 hour online training.
n Note:Onceyouhavesuccessfullycompletedthetrainingandsubmitted your certificate of completion, your certification is valid for 10 years.
➤■ Step 4: Print & complete the “TOWN OF ROCKY HILL Department of Human Resources GENERAL AUTHORIZATION / RELEASE” form.
➤■ Step 5: Submit all of the above completed paperwork directly to the Parks & Recreation Department.
