sea lions swim team
The Rocky Hill Sea Lions Swim Team is a recreational team for ages 6–18. Participating in swim team promotes individual ability as well as team camaraderie. Practice is held Monday–Friday, and attending
a minimum of 3 times/week is recommended. Meets are typically held in the evenings in July. If, for any reason, your child is no longer able to make a meet or you need to get in touch with Head Coach Melisha, please contact her at 860-655-0246.
At the end of the season, we will host a banquet to celebrate the accomplishments of our swimmers and the team! This date is TBA
Ferry Park Boat Launch
Boat launch Passes
Resident season passes are available at the Recreation Office. The launch will open on Friday, May 23, weather pending. Seasonal passes:
●■ Rocky Hill residents: must provide a driver’s
license and current boat registration. Name and address must match on both documents. Fee: $75
●■ Non resident tax payers: must provide a driver’s license, current boat registration and recent tax bill. Name and address must match. Fee: $75

Location: Ferry Park
Fee: Without pass, daily launch fee for all boaters is $30. Payment of a daily admission does not go towards a Boat Launch season pass.
Minimum requirements: Must be able to swim 1 length of pool (75’) without stopping and dive into deep water. Swim team does not teach you how to swim. Swimmer should know basics of freestyle and backstroke.
Coaches: Melisha DeMaio, and Cristina Giancola Days: Monday–Friday
Dates: May 19–August 1
(no practice on 5/26, 5/28, 5/29, 6/2, 6/19, or 7/4)
Final practice date is subject to change based on when Championships are scheduled.
Time: May 19–June 13: 5:00–6:30pm
June 16–August 1: 4:15–5:45pm
Location: High School Pool
Fee: $205 for residents and $255 for non-residents ($20 discount for additional children)

Adult Swim is held every hour on the hour for 15 minutes during Recreation Swim at Elm Ridge Pool.
Game Day is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30–3:00pm at Elm Ridge Pool.
Pool gates close promptly at closing time.
Elm Ridge Pool is open on June 19 and July 4 from 11:00am–7:30pm for recreational swim only.
RHHS Pool is closed on July 4.
Elm Ridge Pool will close for the season on Wednesday, August 13 at 3:30pm.
RHHS Pool will close for the summer season on Friday, August 8. SPECIAL EVENTS
Luau Pool Party will be held on Thursday, July 10th from 5:00–7:30pm. This party is FREE!
Disney Pool Party will be held on Monday, August 4th from 5:00–7:30pm. This party is FREE!
Space for both pool parties is LIMITED. Attendance will be on a first-come/ first-served basis!
26th Annual Dog Day at the Pool will be held Wednesday, August 13th, 4:00–5:15pm and 5:30–6:45pm
$5.00 per dog and $1.00 per person per session
