Toddler Tales
Mondays at 10:30am
Ages 2–4
Sing and dance to songs, listen to a story, and make a fun craft. No registration required.
Baby Bop
Thursdays at 9:45am
Ages 1–18 months
Get little bodies moving with lap bounces, tickles, lifting songs and rhymes and enjoy baby playtime. No registration required.
Playgroup Plus
Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30am
Ages 18 months–5 years
Drop in and join us for stories, songs, bubbles and more! Stay for free play with a large assortment of toys after the storytime. No registration required.
Music and Movement
Mondays at 6:30pm
Ages 5–10
Join us for stories, songs, dancing & more! Music develops listening skills, awareness of rhythm and sound which helps develop early literacy skills. Fun for families with children 2 to 5 yrs (siblings welcome). Registration required.
Kids Chess Club
First Wednesday of the month 6:30pm
Ages 5–10
Chess boards from around the world will be featured. This program is recommended for chess beginners who already know the basic rules of chess and can complete a game without assistance. Registration required.

Make a fun picture frame to kick off your new school year. Have your picture taken with our instant camera to add to your frame. Registration required.
Kids Bike Rodeo
Saturday, September 16 at 10:00am
Ages 5–10
Bike rodeos teach children various bike safety skills by using simulated real-life situations. Come and test your bike skills on a specially designed Bike Rodeo course! Bring your bike and have the bicycle and helmet inspected, then ride through a skills course to learn bike safety techniques. You might even win a free helmet. Registration required.
Unicorn Rainbow Magic

Ages 5–8
Journey to the magical land of Unicorns! Listen to a story, create a unicorn puppet, and play Unicorn bingo! Registration required.
Roving on the Moon
Saturday, September 30 at 2:00pm
Ages 5–16
STEM Activity! Build a rubber-band-powered rover that can scramble across the room. Follow the engineering design process to design and build a rover out of cardboard, figure out how to use rubber bands to spin the wheels, and improve their design based on testing results. Registration required.
Halloween Picture Frame Craft

Journey to the magical land of Unicorns! Listen to a story, create a unicorn puppet, and play Unicorn bingo! Registration required.
Toddler and PreK Halloween Party
Friday, October 27 at 10:30am
Ages 2–4
Dress up in your Halloween costume, dance to some music, listen to a Halloween story and have a romping good time! Parade through the library for treats, then enjoy some fun games and create a jack-o-lantern or candy corn masterpiece. Registration required.
Origami Lucky Stars in a Jar November
Friday, October 27 at 2:00pm
Ages 8 and up
Learn to make origami stars and decorate a jar to put them in. Learn about the history of origami stars and what certain amounts of lucky stars signify. Registration required.
Solar System Bead Model
Saturday, October 28 at 2:00pm
Ages 5–13
STEM Activity! Come build and calculate a scale model of the solar system using beads and string. Observe the relative distances of the planets, asteroid belt and dwarf planet Pluto from one another and from the sun; and gain a better under- standing of the vast distances between planets in the outer solar system compared with those in the inner solar system. Registration required.
Diwali Celebration

Located at the Rocky Hill Senior/Community Center
Join us for a fun pre-celebration of Diwali! Learn about Diwali, a Hindu Festival of Lights, see several traditional dance demonstrations and learn some simple steps. Decorate your house for Diwali with the craft you make and sample some Indian snacks. Registration required.
Make a Thanksgiving Turkey

Ages 4 and up
Create a delightful macaroni turkey creation! Recommended for children ages 4 and up. No registration required.
Soft Landing Challenge

Ages 6–13
STEM Activity! Because sending people into space is difficult, NASA uses rovers for many missions. To land safely on other worlds, the rovers must be protected. Do you have what it takes to create a soft-landing craft that won’t break the precious cargo inside? Join our challenge to find out! Registration required.
