Bring in a 5 by 7 color photograph of your pet or any animal that you would like to paint (a photocopy is fine). Nancy will guide you through the drawing and painting process. In two hours, you will have a watercolor portrait you painted yourself, ready for framing. No painting experience needed!The results are impressive! Registration required.

History of Witches in Connecticut

by over 40 years. Join Natalie Belanger from Connecticut Historical Society to hear the
stories of some of the women and men accused, tried, and executed as witches and learn how Connecticut successfully controlled the spread of witch accusations long before Salem erupted in panic and violence. Registration required.
Herbal Medicine Making 101: Kitchen Witch Recipes for the Fall Season Wednesday, November 15 at 6:30pm
Harness your inner witch in this beginner’s guide to making plant medicine using the “folk method.” In this one-hour class with herbalist Nora Toomey we will go over how to make an herbal syrup, an herbal infused oil, a salve, and a tincture, as well as the plants that would best be extracted using each preparation, and applications for these remedies.
