ongoing programs
toddler tales
Mondays at 10:30am • Ages 2–4
Sing and dance to songs, listen to a story, and make a fun craft. No registration required.
Pre-Preschool
Tuesdays at 10am • Ages 2–4
Join us for a weekly class focused on themes common in preschool classrooms, such as, counting, colors, abc’s, sorting, and learning basic social skills/classroom behaviors like listening and sharing. Each week will focus on one topic.
Baby Bop
Thursdays at 9:45am • Ages 1–18 months
Get little bodies moving with lap bounces, tickles, lifting songs and rhymes and enjoy baby playtime. No registration required.
Playgroup Plus
Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30am
Ages 18 months–5 years
Drop in and join us for stories, songs, bubbles and more! Stay for free play with a large assortment of toys after the storytime. No registration required.
r.e.a.d. to a dog
The second Saturday of each month 2:00–4:00pm Ages 6–10 years
Children needing help building confidence in their reading are invited to practice reading aloud to
a trained therapy dog. Sign up for a 15-minute session with a canine cutie trained through the R.E.A.D. program. Online Registration required.
music and movement
Mondays at 6:30pm • Ages 2–5 years
Join us for stories, songs, dancing & more! Music develops listening skills, awareness of rhythm and sound which helps develop early literacy skills. Registration recommended.
Playful movement in January and February
Mondays at 6:30pm • Ages 2–5 years
Dance and creative movement helps build cognitive development, listening skills and social skills. Move to some music, dance around the mulberry bush, float a scarf, try a body challenge, and engage in parachute play. Different activities each week based on music and bigger body motions. Registration recommended.
Kids Chess Club
First Wednesday of the month 6:30pm
Ages 5–10
Chess boards from around the world will be featured. This program is recommended for chess beginners who already know the basic rules of chess and can complete a game without assistance. Registration required.

Book launch Party
Saturday, December 2 at 2:00pm • Ages 7–9
Meet Pastor Ron Cox, the Chaplain of the Fire Department and author of a new book, “You are You, You Are Special: A Story of Belonging.” Hear a sample reading, learn a fun song, and enjoy some fun games and activities including making a “You Are You” button. Each participant will get a free copy of the book donated by the author. Refreshments provided. Registration required.
Backyard Wildlife – all about opossums
Wednesday, December 27 at 2:00pm • Ages 4+
Meet these fascinating opossums and learn about, wildlife rehabilitation, the role of rehabbers, how wildlife can be supported in the winter, preparing an emergency roadside kit and how to turn your property into a sanctuary. Registration required.
sugar Plum Fairy Craft
Thursday, December 28 at 2:00pm • Ages 7+
Decorate some sugar plum fairies to hang on your tree or around your home! Listen to some music from the Nutcracker Ballet as you work! Registration required.

Friday, December 29 at 10:30am • Ages 4+
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Noon time, a day early! Fun for the whole family! Decorate a party hat, create a New Year’s Sparkler Star, a New Year’s party popper; play some Minute to Win it games, dance and then countdown to NOON! Registration required.
Pete the Cat and the missing Cupcakes
Wednesday, January 31 at 5:00pm • Ages 4+
Join us for a story about our favorite cat, and make a craft to take home with you! Registration required.
