American Red Cross Adult, Child, and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid Course
The 2021 Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/ AED course equips students to recognize
and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA, workplace or other regulatory requirements. Upon successful completion, a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

Dates: Saturdays, 1/14, 2/11, 3/3, 4/1, or 5/6 (each day is an independent course – only one day must be attended to complete the course) Times: 9:00am–2:00pm

Capoeira (Brazilian Dancing Martial Arts) – for ages 10+
Capoeira (pronounced cap-o-wed-a) is an
art of self-defense that is hidden in dance
and played as a game inside a circle with live music and songs. Capoeira has a rich and important history and is enjoyed as a beautiful “dance”. It develops strong, agile muscles, brings people together and invites people to express themselves. It provides health benefits, enhances self-esteem, reduces stress and
was created to build community. The Capoeira community continues to grow, as it spreads across the world. It is a barefoot class. Wear loose clothes and bring water.

Karate (ages 6+)
Learn the traditional art of Okinawan Shorin Ryu Karate. You will learn the basics of
Karate, blocking, and striking, as it is still taught in Okinawa today. Students will learn discipline, self-confidence, and how to defend themselves. The Beginner class (for ages 6–10) is for students with no previous training. The Advanced Karate class is for ages 10 and up. Class is done barefoot. New students: wear loose, comfortable clothing to class. Instructor: Master Sensei Peter Pekrul, 10th degree black belt

Sewing Classes with Miss Ashley
Looking to take up a useful new hobby? These family-friendly classes are offered to both children and adults! Learn a new skill today while taking home your very own project! Students must bring their own machines but materials will be provided. Adult classes are for 16 and up.

Table Tennis (Ping Pong) Lessons (Ages 5+)
Join professional Table Tennis players Ashish Mishra and Rohit Tyagi in both sharpening
or developing your Table Tennis skills! This program is designed to enhance interest around Table Tennis and help participants to understand the nuances of the sport. Starting with the basics, each individual’s skill level
will be determined and personalized feedback and coaching will be provided to improve their current level of the game. Participants of all ages, new or experienced, can look forward to learning from scratch or improving their skills with this class! All participants must bring their own Table Tennis bat (paddle).

Cake/Cookie Decorating
Participants will have an absolute blast learning various decorating techniques for their baked goods! Different classes will focus on different baked goods, depending on age range and season. After class, participants will leave with their tasty treats!
