         Parks & Recreation
Letter from the Director of Parks & Recreation
Greetings Rocky Hill Residents –
As we approach the summer of 2021, we at the Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation Department would like to thank you for your continued support throughout this pandemic. All of us learned about socially distanced events, virtual programming, and the importance of being able to get outside and enjoy our parks and trails within the community. Covid-19 forced all of us to change the way we live and operate. In turn, it forced our department to be more creative and innovative while learning to appreciate the power of contingency planning.
Speaking of planning, we are still in the stages of putting together a summer full of fun and engaging activities. With guidelines constantly changing, our most up to date information on summer programming will be available on our website: This summer, we are excited
to bring back Summerscape Day Camp as well as swimming lessons, concerts, drive-in movies, farmers markets, and our award winning UFO Frisbee Golf nights. In addition, our department is thrilled to announce our latest collaboration with Rocky Hill High School Athletics to offer our new “Jr. Terriers Athletics Series” which will host camps/clinics for a variety of sports lead by our own varsity coaches and athletes!
In closing, we look forward to seeing all of you soon as we attempt to put 2020 behind us and rebound with a better-than-ever 2021. Let’s do this Rocky Hill!
