    Counselor In Training Program
The Counselor In Training (CIT) program has been designed to give individuals direct experience learning about camp operations. All CIT’s are responsible for having the applicable Summerscape Camp registration paperwork completed prior to registration. Through this program participants will have the opportunity to learn concepts such as but not limited to: Resumes and Job Applications, Job Interviews, Planning and Implementing activities, Working with different age groups and abilities, Learning about day-to-day camp operations, Learn about basic medical training, Shadow various camp staff on a daily basis, Receive weekly evaluations on performance... and more!
We currently offer 2 options to participate in the CIT program. You may enroll in a 3 week session (offered twice), or a 6 week session. For those who enroll in the 6 week session, those CIT’s will receive a more advanced curriculum for weeks 4 through 6.

» Fees:
• Residents: Session 1: $260
• Session 2: $300 per session
• Non-Residents: Session 1: $270 • Session 2: $310 per session

• Session 1: Wednesday, July 1–Friday, August 9 (No Camp July 4–5)

August Vacation Camp
 Who doesn’t love camp? The Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation is proud to announce our newly imagined “Vacation Camp” offerings powered by our talented “Summerscape” staff.
Open to campers grades 1 through 5, our Vacation Camp is here to fulfill your school vacation needs! Operating similar to our Summerscape offerings, this vacation camp program will host structured daily activities ranging from; crafts, sports, e-sports, games and more! (Note: Campers must provide their own food and beverage each day!)
Grades: Entering Grades 1–5 for the 2024–25 School Year Dates: Monday, August 12–Friday, August 16, 2024
Time: 8:30am–4:00pm
Location: Rocky Hill Community Center – Room 1C
Fee: $200 residents, $210 non-residents; Max.: 30
