Recreational Fall Youth Soccer – Athletes
The Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation Youth Fall Soccer programs have been designed to provide our athletes the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of soccer through practices and games. Our dedicated volunteer coaches are there every step of the way to make sure your child is having fun in a safe and inclusive environment!

REGISTRATION BEGINS: Monday, April 17, 2023 REGISTRATION ENDS: Friday, July 21, 2023 Date: September–October
(Starts on Tuesday, September 5. Kickers Division will meet on Thursday for opening week only.)

n■ NEW: Teammate requests will no longer be accepted effective 2023 Fall Soccer Season
n■ Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once we have reached our maximum capacity you will be placed on a wait list with no team mate requests or guarantees of a spot so it is recommended that you register early. In the event space permits after July 21 a $25 late fee will apply per child.
n■ Anyone registering for our league and trying out for travel must withdraw from our rec league
by July 21 if they have made a travel team for a refund.
n■ Parks & Recreation has the right to reconfigure, merge divisions with other organizations or cancel leagues based on enrollment and not having enough coaches. There will be no make ups beyond October 31 due to the cold weather and start of basketball season.

n■ A majority of the communication for the season will take place via email.
n■ Please ensure your household email address is linked to your account at the time of registration AND set-up to receive emails from our department.
• If your account is not set-up to receive emails, you will miss important announcements regarding your child’s season.
n■ Communications related to scheduled practices/games, cancellations and/or other announcements will be made via email.
n■ Schedules will be posted online by visiting: https://rockyhillct.myrec.com/info/ and visiting the Youth Fall Soccer located by clicking the “Programs” link.
n■ Team placement emails will be sent out the week of August 28–September 1. If you do not receive an email by Friday September 1, please call the office.
Division Details
n■ All division’s practice, game days, locations and times are subject to change based on availability.
n■ ALL registered participants will receive one t-shirt.
n■ Grades/ages based on the 2024–24 school year. n■ All participants must be potty trained.
n■ Parent/guardians are required to stay on-site
during practices and in games in the event of an
emergency.

Cancellations: Practices and Games may be cancelled at any given time. The Parks & Recreation Department will make all efforts to notify teams accordingly in these circumstances. Efforts will also be made to re-schedule cancelled practices and/or games. Please note, re-scheduled practices and/or games may not take place on the assigned night of your division (ex. Kickers cancelled practice MAY be re-scheduled on a Thursday depending upon field availability.)
