Adult
yoga in the Park
Yoga in the Park is a Hatha style yoga class
for adults in good health who want the joy of movement outside with a group. Class will focus
on fun, flow-style movements, but will also provide some foundational yoga instruction. A moderate yoga challenge that benefits the joints, posture, and overall physical and mental health. Bring water, a yoga mat and wear loose comfortable clothes. You will be required to sign in each class you attend. Class will be cancelled due to inclement weather. Location: Amphitheater at Elm Ridge Park

Adult tennis lessons
The program is designed for beginners to advanced players looking to play tennis or tune up their game. Lessons and drills will focus on stroke development, movement and strategy. Sneakers with non-marking soles required. Bring own racket or equipment will be provided. For more information, contact the Tennis & Fitness Center at 860-563-8051.

American sign language for Adults (ages 16+)
Students will learn the ASL alphabet and corresponding words. Basic words and phrases such as colors, numbers, family members, etc. Students will be able to sign familiar words and short phrases at the end of the course. This class is fun and educational!

PounD Fitness (ages 13+)
POUND is a full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training. POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out using lightly weighted exercise drumsticks. Designed for all fitness levels and easily modifiable, POUND provides
the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! Participants need to bring a mat and water bottle. Pound sticks are provide.

sewing classes with Miss Ashley
Looking to take up a useful new hobby? These family-friendly classes are offered to both children and adults! Learn a new skill today while taking home your very own project! Students must bring their own machines but materials will be provided. Adult classes are for 16 and up.

Jewelry Making for Beginners
Make your very own unique jewelry in your favorite colors or to match your outfit in less than an hour! All classes are for children and adults ages 10 and up. American red cross Adult, child, and Pediatric cPr/AeD/First Aid course
The 2021 Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care
for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA, workplace or other regulatory requirements. Upon successful completion, a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

Boat launch Passes
Resident season passes are available at the Recreation Office. The launch will open on Friday, May 26, weather pending. Seasonal passes:
●■ Rocky Hill residents: must provide a driver’s
license and current boat registration. Name and address must match on both documents. Fee: $75
●■ Non resident tax payers: must provide a driver’s license, current boat registration and recent tax bill. Name and address must match. Fee: $75

Fee: Without pass, daily launch fee for all boaters is $30. Payment of a daily admission does not go towards a Boat Launch season pass.
