(FOR CAMPERS ENTERING GRADES 6 THROUGH 9)
ABOUT STAC
● Camp is open to all participants currently entering grades 6–9 for the 2020–21 school year.
● Summerscape Teen Adventure Camp (STAC for short) is an additional segment of the Summerscape Day Camp
program. The only di erence is STAC will be participating in various  eld trips throughout the week as outlined.
● Campers must attend all scheduled  eld trips. Campers will not be allowed to remain behind at Summerscape Day Camp.
● Field trip dates, times and locations are subject to change. Please check the Summer brochure for further updates.
● Select trips may require an early AM departure or late PM arrival, please be sure to check-in with the STAC
Camp Director if unsure of times for those days. In general, the information will be shared on the weekly newsletters that are distributed. Buses will not wait for late campers.
● STAC campers will have the opportunity to participate in the annual Talent Show. In an e ort to best prepare for the show, there will be no  eld trip that day.
● Campers are required to bring their own food and beverage each day to camp/ on  eld trips. For select trips, food or snack may be provided. In these circumstances, advance notice will be provided to help you plan accordingly when applicable.
● Every Friday (with the exclusion of 4th of July Week), camp will have “Pizza Friday” where each camper will receive cheese pizza at no additional cost. Campers are asked to pack other snacks and drinks as they will not be provided.
● For more detailed information, please be sure to pick-up a copy of our “Summerscape Teen Adventure Camp Parent Handbook” or print a copy online.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
● Obtain a Copy of the “Summerscape Teen Adventure Camp Parent Handbook”: This will contain important information regarding camp operations, policies and procedures. The handbook also contains important forms that must be fully read and completed prior to registration. Copies can be obtained at the Parks and Recreation o ce or printed from our website.
● Obtain Medical Information: Per our state licensing regulations, all campers must have a current health
form on  le. Health forms are valid for 3 years from the date of the examination UNLESS there is a change in information. Your child’s physician MUST sign-o  on all health documentation prior to being accepted. Campers requiring special accommodations, should refer to the ADA section of the Town of Rocky Hill’s website.
● Registration: Once all of the necessary paperwork has been reviewed and completed, forms must be delivered in-person to the Parks & Recreation o ce for your initial registration. If you wish, you may fax and/
or mail your forms as well and pay with a credit card over the phone. Please note, if forms are not completed to our needs, registration will not be processed until the necessary forms are completed accordingly. Note: You only need to come into our o ce for the initial registration. (Example, if you only sign-up for week 1, but wish to enroll in additional sessions, payment can be processed over the phone with a valid credit card.)

STAC FIELD TRIP SCHEDULE
“IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, it is important to note ALL Summerscape and Camp Rocks registration has been suspended until further notice. This DOES NOT mean camp is cancelled. However, our department is actively working with state and local o cials to determine whether current operational plans can resume safely this summer and/or if modi cations will need to be made in- order to operate. In the event we are unable to make reasonable modi cation(s) if needed during this time, a decision regarding the cancellation of camp operations will be made at that time. Thank you for understanding, and be safe!”

PRICING AND HOURS OF OPERATION
early Program Add-on (7:30–8:30am)
Resident: $27 per week, (Week 2: $22) Non-resident: $32 per week, (Week 2: $26)
camp Program (8:30am–4:00pm)
Resident: $243 per week, (Week 2: $195) Non-resident: $297 per week, (Week 2: $238)
late Program Add-on (4:00–6:00pm)
Resident: $38 per week, (Week 2: $30 per week) Non-resident: $43 per week, (Week 2: $34 per week)
late Pick-up Penalty Fee
Any child picked up after 4:00pm (after camp program hours OR after 6:00pm (Late Program) will be charged a $50 late fee per occurrence. Further information can be found in the Summerscape Teen Adventure Camp Parent Handbook.
● Full payment is due at the time of registration. Spaces will be  lled on a  rst-come,  rst-serve basis. Spaces will not be held without payment.
● Camper Pick-Up: A physical photo
ID is required on a DAILY basis
to release your child from camp.
The photo ID must be used to verify names of authorized pick-ups for your child(ren) that is provided to our sta . This is required on a daily basis as pick-ups may encounter di erent sta  member per pick-up occurrence. Those who fail to present an ID will be asked to retrieve and present a valid ID prior to an authorized release of a camper. This is required for the safety of our campers and sta .
