Stepping Stone Summer theatre
Show: Bunny ears (Ages 4–grade 2)
You’re never too young to become the next Broadway star! Participants in this program
are provided a great opportunity to get a taste of the acting life. Your little one will have the opportunity to act, sing, dance, create sets and costumes through crafts and more! All of which is followed by a final performance put on for our friends and families.

inclusive kickball
Introducing Inclusive Kickball! Taking place
at Miracle Field, this program is designed for participants with and without intellectual and/
or developmental disabilities. Inclusive Kickball will play fun, enjoyable, non-competitive pick-up kickball games. Each week, players will have the opportunity to make new teams along with new friends! All games will be facilitated by one of our highly energetic staff members.
Grades: 1–6

camp Sunrise
A summer recreational program for special needs children ages 3–21 with physical, intellectual, developmental and/or other health impairments. The camp is run by the Glastonbury Parks
& Recreation Dept. and serves the towns of Cromwell, Glastonbury, Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield. Special registration procedures are required. Camp runs Monday–Friday, June 22-August 7, 9:00am–3:00pm at Naubuc School, Glastonbury. Fee is $135/week and $165/week for typical siblings. Transportation is provided from the Rocky Hill Town Hall to and from
camp. If transportation is needed, there is an addition $25/week fee. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis and starts on March 3. Contact Glastonbury Parks and Recreation Dept. to register and for information on the camp.

Sizzling Science – for ages 4–8
Come fizz, pop and boom with Sizzling Science!! Each week children will discover the fun and fasci- nating world of science through amazing hands on experiments, some with an eruption component. kidscapades mix – for ages 5–8
Squish, pop, mix, fizz and create! This class is
a unique mix of sensory exploration, science experiments and art. Children will discover the fun world of sensory and science through hands on experiments and messy sensory explorations. Creativity is encouraged for art projects based on seasons, holidays, books and characters. Instructor: Elena Bigio from Kidscapades Location: Community Center

Dance classes
Our youth dance classes allow your child the opportunity to learn and express themselves through the art of dance in a fun environment.
All classes will be taught at the beginner level, allowing your child to learn traditional dance steps associated with their specific class. Music will be child friendly. Proper dance attire is required for all dance classes. Please check our web site for clothing and foot attire. Hair must be tied up.
Sparkling Sip & Paint night for kids:
ages 8–14
Why should adults only get to sip and paint?
A unique 2 hour session, just for kids, for an opportunity to get creative as our professional artist leads class brushstroke by brushstroke
to create a one of a kind masterpiece. An age appropriate twist on the newest adult trend with sparkling water provided.

guitar lessons (ages 6–11)
Group guitar lessons for the beginner with individual attention. Class will emphasize basic guitar fundamentals. Students will learn how to read music, play chords and use correct hand technique. Your own guitar is required. Prior
to class the instructor can provide you with a referral on where to get one at a reasonable price. Instructor: Brian Hartley
