Mad Science: Crazy Chemworks
(Grades 1–5)
We’ll learn about the tools scientists use in their laboratories, as well as atoms, molecules and reactions, acids and bases, fluorescence, and phosphorescence. We’ll also examine and investigate super sticky things by exploring suction, hydrogen bonding and static
cling. We’ll also see some very cool dry ice demonstrations! Continue the science at home with fun labware take-homes and experiments. Instructor: Mad Science Instructor

Kid’s Sewing 101 (ages 8–13)
Kids will learn how to thread, operate and troubleshoot their sewing machines while creating whimsical weekly projects. Projects will include techniques like Hems, elastic application and French seams. Students must bring their own machine, thread and scissors. Fabric and notions materials will be provided. Minecraft Coding Class (ages 8–10)
Using the Minecraft Education Edition students will solve code and go through lesson plans such as planets, pandas, periodic table of elements, and more. Students will learn the
X, Y, and Z coordinates, along with variables, conditions, loops, and more. Included with this class is a coding account that students can access from home to practice their coding independently. All projects that they create at The Coder School will be accessible to them from home. Come join the fun! Scratch Coding Class (ages 7–10)
Using the MIT developed platform, Scratch, along with block coding, children will create advanced games such as a solar system, Mario platformer, and much more! Learn about loops, variables, x and y coordinates, if and then statements, and more! Included with this class is a coding account that students can access from home to practice their coding independently. All projects that they create at The Coder School will be accessible to them from home. Come join the fun! used by Google, Instagram, and Netflix! Learn how to draw shapes and create designs
using the turtle library. Learn about if and

          The dog park is located in elm Ridge Park on elm Street. Open all year dawn to dusk. There is no lighting at the dog park. At times, there may be temporary fencing up in certain areas of the park to promote grass growth. Please respect the fencing and keep out of these areas to help us take care of our beloved dog park!
